In March, the JACK Quartet will be performing at the Pierre Boulez Saal Berlin, at London's Wigmore Hall with a Focus Day, and four concerts as guests of the Musikkollegium Winterthur, featuring works to mark the 100th anniversary of Pierre Boulez's birth, among others.

On 20 March, the JACK Quartet will perform several movements from Boulez's highly complex and yet fragmentary Livre pour quatuor in the Pierre Boulez Saal, complemented by recent works by Eva-Maria Houben and Anthony Cheung, among others, as well as the String Quartet in Four Parts by Boulez's contemporary John Cage.

This programme will also be heard in the last concert of the three-part Focus Day at Wigmore Hall on 22 March. The four musicians will perform works by Heinz Holliger and Philip Glass in the morning, followed by Elliott Carter's last string quartet, Helmut Lachenmann's quartet Grido and Eduardo Aguilar's HYPER in the afternoon.

The JACK Quartet can be heard with the Musikkollegium Winterthur on 26 and 27 March in orchestral concerts with Wolfgang Rihm's ‘Concerto’ Dithyrambe for string quartet and orchestra, conducted by Ilan Volkov. This will be followed on 28 March by a programme moderated by Hannah Schmidt with works by Taylor Brook, Nicola Vicentino, Taylor Brook, Juri Seo and Helmut Lachenmann, before the programme based around Pierre Boulez' Livre pour quatuor is performed again on 29 March.
