From 13 to 15 November, the weit! festival for new music in Weingarten will feature six concerts and a lecture focusing on the music of Chaya Czernowin, performed by top-class ensembles – including a world premiere with the Aleph Guitar Quartet and the SWR Vokalensemble.

Olli Mustonen will perform works by Britten, Elgar and himself together with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta at three concerts from 13 to 15 November in Enschede, at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and in Leiden.

The works of the Prague-born composer Hans Winterberg (1901–1991), recorded by Roland Kluttig with the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz and the soloist Jonathan Powell, are a real discovery.
