Nikolaus Rexroth

Nikolaus Rexroth studied piano and musicology in Berlin and Munich and has since worked professionally both as a pianist and in cultural management. As artistic director of the international cultural enterprise RCCR Projects, he has particular expertise in the field of international cultural exchange and regularly organises large-scale orchestral and chamber music academies and workshops as well as orchestral tours.

He is particularly interested in developing new event formats with classical music, which he realises as artistic director of the Camera Obscura Festival in Tbilisi (since 2017) and the interdisciplinary music festival INTO THE OPEN in Berlin, Vilnius and Strasbourg.

Since 2022, Nikolaus Rexroth has been working at karsten witt musik management, primarily on projects for the CLSX.de platform, which presents renowned symphony orchestras at the Philharmonie Berlin and Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, among others. He has also been a partner of the Classical:NEXT conference since 2023.
