Heike Wilms

has worked at Karsten Witt Music Management since 2016 as a Project Manager with a focus on string players and conductors. A qualified instrumental teacher as well as an experienced arts manager, she spent valuable time at the Association of Arts and Culture of the German Economy at the Federation of German Industries (BDI) in Berlin, where she headed the music department from 2003-2016.

Her previous experience includes positions at the Bärenreiter/Gustav Bosse publishing house in Kassel, the cultural marketing agency Kulturbüro in Hamburg and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, where she was PA to the Vice President. During this time, she also completed a degree in Cultural Management. Heike was born in the Rhineland, and after her school graduation she studied Music Education in Matsumoto in Japan and Hamburg, with a focus on general music education and strings. She is an active violinist and violist in chamber music ensembles and orchestras, and enjoys outdoor activities, the Feldenkrais Method and Yoga.
