Kathrin Feldmann-Uhl

joined the kwmm team in 2021. She works as a project manager primarily for conductors and is also responsible for two string quartets as artist manager.

She was born in Celle in Lower Saxony and, after a year in Paris, first studied interpreting and translation in Heidelberg and then graduated with a Master's degree in Romance studies, Slavic studies, and Eastern European history in Berlin. She is a trained radio editor and for a great deal of time produced radio and audio PR for an agency on behalf of major publishing houses and well-known newspapers and magazines. For the past few years, she has also been producing podcasts.

Classical music is her passion - and has been since childhood: Kathrin has sung in numerous small and large ensembles and played the flute in various youth orchestras for many years. She currently sings in the Berlin chamber choir opus vocale, where she is also responsible for the press work. She has also been involved in public relations and the organisation of international concert tours for other ensembles and choirs.

Kathrin loves unusual concert formats which break down rigid structures and attract a new generation of listeners to classical music.  She is thrilled to be working in a team that shares her passion for music.
