Maï Handal

has been working as a project manager at Karsten Witt Musik Management since April 2022, where she supervises conductors and soloists.

She studied philosophy and art history at the University Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne, France. In her master's thesis in aesthetics and philosophy of perception, she explored the concept of experimental cinema in Europe since the 1970s and society's relationship with images, focusing in particular on the filmmaker Klaus Wyborny.

She gained interdisciplinary work experience in Berlin, where she worked as an intern at the Film and Media Office of the Institut Français and at Le Bureau Export, focusing on classical and contemporary music. She also worked for the festival of experimental film and contemporary art Rencontres Internationales Paris Berlin, where she was responsible, among other things, for the supervision of the artists. As a French and Palestinian, she grew up near the German border in Lorraine, and looks forward to international projects, contacts and encounters. She is particularly interested in contemporary music and new artistic practices in the field of music.
