Daniel Schumacher

Born and raised in Wuppertal, Daniel felt drawn to explore new horizons both intellectually and geographically after graduating from high school: he studied East Asian Studies and Ethnology in Berlin and Seoul. Subsequently, he worked in project administration and political consulting research at universities in Berlin.

He only began to discover classical music for himself toward the end of his school years, and since becoming a student, he has been an enthusiastic choir singer in various ensembles. Through an internship at karsten witt musik management, he made the career shift into the cultural sector in 2023. Since spring 2024, he has been part of the kwmm team as a project manager for new music and soloists, with a focus on vocal music.
