The 12th Joseph Joachim Violin Competition started on 16 September in Hanover. Thanks to our newly created scholarship, we will soon be able to welcome a competition participant to our kwmm Academy for the first time: Louisa Staples, semi-finalist and winner of the chamber music prize awarded by the Kuss Quartet, will receive the scholarship, which entitles her to attend a music management course at our kwmm Academy.
23 excellent young violinists from ten countries took part in the Joseph Joachim Violin Competition in Hanover in September. For the second time, the competition, which takes place every three years, was under the artistic direction of Antje Weithaas and Oliver Wille. karsten witt musik management is delighted to be associated with the Joseph Joachim Violin Competition in a special way this year and to offer a scholarship in the form of free participation in a music management course at our kwmm Academy.
With the kwmm Academy, we want to equip musicians with the tools they need for successful self-management. We are delighted that we will soon be able to support Louisa Staples with expertise and advice on all aspects of a successful career start.
