On 19 May 2023, the album entitled An Old Hall Ladymass was released by the Norwegian label 2L.
The magnificently decorated 15th century choir book was lost for almost 400 years until it resurfaced at the end of the 19th century. The largest surviving collection of medieval motets and mass movements from medieval England serves as the Trio Mediaeval's starting point for a Ladymass: transposed for women's voices and with organist Catalina Vicens as musical partner, the source material becomes a lively whole into which two works commissioned by the Trio Mediaeval, by David Lang and Marianne Reidarsdatter Eriksen, fit.
