Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan will be performing the dance piece Sounding Light – which explores the delicate balance between human civilisation and nature – at the Tanz im August festival in Berlin from 15 to 17 August.

On 14 August, the GrauSchumacher Piano Duo will give the American premiere of Philippe Manoury’s composition Le temps, mode d’emploi at the TIME:SPANS Festival in New York.

On 6 August, the Gringolts Quartet will be performing at the Salzburg Festival, where, as part of the Kurtág programme, they will perform three of the composer’s string quartets, interwoven with the four movements of Schubert’s String Quartet in G major, D 887.
