At the afternoon concert at the Von der Heydt Museum, Olli Mustonen will accompany musicologist Tobias Bleek and the museum’s deputy director, Anna Storm, on a guided tour and a lecture on the work of Otto Dix. With works by Erwin Schulhoff, Igor Stravinsky and Paul Hindemith, he will take the audience on a musical journey back to the jazz-infused 1920s.
moreOlli Mustonen will present two concert programmes on 14 May in Wuppertal as part of the Klavier-Festival Ruhr: in the afternoon, he will give a solo performance evoking the 1920s, and in the evening, he will perform his own piano quintet from 2014 alongside Dvořák’s Quintet in A major with the Meta4 string quartet.
