On 14 September, Christoph Prégardien will perform Johannes Maria Staud's newly orchestrated ensemble version of Schubert's cycle Die Schöne Müllerin with Klangforum Wien in Innsbruck. Entitled These Fevered Days, it is interwoven with seven new songs based on poems by Emily Dickinson. The work will also be performed in Porto and Vienna in the near future.
On 6 September, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, conducted by Pascal Gallois, premiered Philippe Manoury's new composition Scales for string orchestra at the Festival Classique au vert in Paris. The work will also be performed by the MKO in Rennes and Quibéron at the end of the month, alongside a composition by Johannes Maria Staud.
