From 13 to 20 September, the Le Pont International Music Festival in the Japanese prefecture of Hyogo will once again feature renowned musical guests and a varied chamber music programme under the artistic direction of Daishin Kashimoto.
"A recording for the ages": Daishin Kashimoto’s interpretation of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with the Berlin Baroque Soloists has received rave reviews and was named Editor's Choice by the Gramophone magazine.
Daishin Kashimoto's CD with Chausson's Concerto for Piano, Violin and String Quartet, recorded together with Éric Le Sage and the Schumann Quartet, was released by Sony Classical in October and was promptly voted Album of the Week by BR Klassik radio.
Congratulations to Daishin Kashimoto: his CD with chamber music by Nino Rota received a Diapason d'or award of the year!
