We are delighted to be working with Stefano Gervasoni with immediate effect; his compositions are characterised by a sophisticated and highly personal soundscape.

Delicate lyricism, formal clarity and subtle processes of transformation coexist in the music of this composer, who was born in Bergamo in 1962. We are looking forward to the coming season, which will feature, amongst other works, the world premiere of Rischiare la gioia for mezzo-soprano, choir and orchestra – a commission by the orchestra and choir of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, conducted by Daniel Harding, based on texts by Pattiann Rogers.
