"Impulsive and rich in contrast - simply fantastic": The second part of Antje Weithaas' recording of all of Beethoven's violin sonatas is just as enthusiastically received by critics as her debut in Berlin's Pierre Boulez Saal.

Antje Weithaas and her piano partner Dénes Várjon also impress with the second of a total of three albums of the complete recording of all Beethoven sonatas, which has just been released on the CAvi label. Shortly after its release, it was named album of the week and album of the year (chamber music) by BR Klassik radio. Reviewer Meret Forster describes the CD, which juxtaposes the third sonata from the early Opus 12 group of works with the two sonatas 7 and 8 from Opus 30, as "simply fascinating" and "a must, not only for chamber music fans".
