Ilya Gringolts on tour with the Australian Chamber Orchestra

From 12 to 28 March, Ilya Gringolts will lead and perform as soloist with the Australian Chamber Orchestra on an extensive tour ‘Down Under’, presenting a diverse programme.

On his third major tour with the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Ilya Gringolts will play-lead the orchestra in a programme performed on historical instruments. The journey takes him to Wollongong, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra.

Under the motto ‘The Devil's Violin’, the programme will include works by Vivaldi, Geminiani and Tartini, as well as more recent composers such as Gubaidulina and Weinberg.
