From 18 to 27 September, Anton Gerzenberg will be performing in eight solo concerts on a major tour of Sweden, broken up by a performance with Martha Argerich at the Vienna Konzerthaus.

At the heart of the recitals are two key works from Ravel’s piano repertoire: Gaspard de la Nuit (M. 55) – one of the most virtuosic and mysterious compositions in the piano repertoire – and the impressionistically sparkling Jeux d’eau (M. 30). As on his highly acclaimed debut album Ravel Reflections, Anton Gerzenberg places the works in the context of Liszt, Balakirev and Godowsky. Works by Franz Schubert, Teresa Carreño and Lili Boulanger round off the programme with which the pianist will tour Sweden in the second half of September.
