A warm welcome to Michael Jarrell! We are delighted to be working with this composer, who has enjoyed great success time and again since the 1990s at the latest with his chamber music, orchestral works and, not least, musical theatre compositions. The body of work of this composer, who also studied fine art, is shaped by the interplay between these two disciplines. Consequently, Michael Jarrell’s working method is characterised by the connection between compositional practice and visual thinking.
With every work he creates, Michael Jarrell adds to his musical self-portrait: it reflects his constant striving for clarity and precision in his compositional work. We are delighted to be working with the Swiss composer from now on!
