The State Orchestra’s 7th symphony concert will take place as part of the AI Festival at the Staatstheater Darmstadt. For this event, composition students, in collaboration with the ‘Artificial Intelligence and Musical Creation’ department, have written works based on Mussorgsky’s cycle Pictures at an Exhibition, which will also be performed in Ravel’s orchestration.
Asya Fateyeva will perform at both concerts on 17 and 18 May, playing Erwin Schulhoff’s Hot Sonata and Frank Martin’s Ballade.
