Simone Menezes has captivated audiences worldwide with her project Amazônia, which combines Sebastião Salgado’s moving photographs with music by Heitor Villa-Lobos and Philip Glass, and she will now be performing the programme with the Dresden Philharmonic (6 June) and the Gulbenkian Orchestra (11 and 12 June).
