The German magazine Focus devoted an extensive portrait to Jacob Mühlrad on the occasion of his highly acclaimed musical setting for the venerable Nobel Banquet.

A recording of Jacob Mühlrad's clarinet concerto SEMA with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Martin Fröst and featuring soloist Magnus Holmander was released in November 2025 on the Warner Classics label.
