The world premiere of Christian Mason's concerto for double bass and orchestra Deep Dazzling Darkness, featuring soloist Ricardo Delgado, will be the centrepiece of two concerts by the Orchestre national Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes under Richard Tognetti on 29 and 30 November.

The 2025 Grawemeyer Music Composition Award goes to Christian Mason for his ensemble work Invisible Threads.
