On 1 June, Alejo Pérez, Music Director of Opera Vlaanderen, will conduct the premiere of Johan Simons' new production of Alban Berg's Wozzeck, which will be shown first in Antwerp and then in Ghent until the end of June.
In 2019, Alejo Pérez conducted Sergei Prokofiev's operatic tragedy The Fiery Angel to great acclaim at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. The production is now available on DVD.
