On 18 January, Christoph Prégardien will celebrate his 70th birthday with a special recital at the Konzerthaus Dortmund.

To mark the 100th anniversary of Morton Feldmann's birth, the JACK Quartet, together with pianist Florence Millet, will perform his late masterpiece Piano and String Quartet on 16 January in Wuppertal and on 31 January in Tübingen.

At the Ultraschall Berlin festival, Ilya Gringolts will perform Kurtág's Kafka Fragments together with Johanna Vargas on January 15, and he will interpret a violin concerto by Mirela Ivičević in the closing concert on January 18 with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin under Giedrė Šlekytė.
