has been a project manager in the new music division since April 2017. Before joining Karsten Witt, he spent a year as an assistant publicist at London-based classical music PR agency Macbeth Media Relations, with clients including The Metropolitan Opera, Aldeburgh Music, and Grafenegg Festival.
In addition, he worked as a freelance music writer, providing programme notes for organisations such as the BBC Proms and articles for publications including Sinfini Music.
Born and raised in Hertfordshire, England, where he was an enthusiastic singer and participant in local choirs, Samuel completed his school studies in Cambridge. He read Music at the University of Oxford, including composition studies with Robert Saxton, graduating with First Class Honours. He then went on to study for a master´s degree in Ethnomusicology at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, during which time he completed an internship at the record label World Music Network.
