In April, Jonathan Stockhammer stepped in most successfully on the podium of the London Symphony Orchestra and conducted works by Debussy, Ravel and Adams - now the concert can also be seen online.

At short notice, Jonathan Stockhammer replaced Sir Simon Rattle for the concerts at the Barbican Hall. Music that paints pictures was on the programme on 20 April: with Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé, Debussy's La mer and John Adams' Harmonielehre, Jonathan Stockhammer led the LSO with weighty and colourful compositions of the early and late 20th century.

Harmonielehre was already performed on 19 April, as part of the Half Six Fix series, which kicked off the evening with one-hour concerts.

Das gesamte Konzert des 20. April ist nun online bei symphony.live verfügbar. Frei zugänglich kann man den ersten Satz von La Mer zudem auf Youtube sehen.
